A Fungus Among Us

A few years ago I received a garden angel that was made out of an old bowling pin. It was hand-painted and had a country feel to it. I set it out on the edge of my patio, nestled among the pots, and would bring it in over the winter.

A Sunday Garden Tour

As a gardener, I enjoy visiting a variety of gardens whenever I go out of town and have the time. This gives me a chance to see how the gardens are designed, see plants I may not know, find some I want to try to grow, but not sure how they might fit in my own garden.

Some Plants of the Galapagos

My husband and I recently returned from a trip to the Galapagos Islands. The adventure was remarkable and fast paced. We are still mentally sorting out our experiences and memories. We treasure the opportunity we had to see so many different animals in their natural habitat.
