MANAGING INVASIVE PLANTS

What’s the difference between an invasive plant and a weed? Some invasive plants are really pretty
(looking at you, Scotch Broom) – why should we kill them? What are the worst invasives in Nevada
County and how can you manage them on your property?

Come join the Master Gardeners of Nevada County for a free public workshop focusing on Broom,
Tree of Heaven, Vinca Major, Himalayan Blackberry, English Ivy and a few other problem plants.
