Have a Gardening Question?

UCCE Master Gardeners of Central Sierra are here to answer your gardening questions!

Ask a Master Gardener

Fill out the Ask A Master Gardener online form for your county. You can attach photos and we walk you through all of the information that might be pertinent. A Master Gardener will get back to you, usually within 72 hours! Or, if you prefer, you can call the Master Gardener Hotline in your county to leave a detailed phone message and a Master Gardener will get back to you.

Bring in a Sample!

In some counties, you can bring a sample for identification, or drop by to ask questions. If you bring a sample, please put plant material in a plastic bag. For insect identification, don't bring them alive! Please preserve insects in a container with rubbing alcohol, or by freezing.

We've got people to answer your questions in Amador, Calaveras, El Dorado, Lake Tahoe, and Tuolumne Counties! Find all of the ways to contact each of them on this page.
