Karina Lundahl is the Project Manager of the North Coast Emergency Food Systems Partnership. The Partnership extends across six counties—Del Norte, Humboldt, Mendocino, Sonoma, Napa and Marin. Partners work throughout food systems in the region, and include food producers, food policy councils, community-based organizations, local and tribal governments, cooperative extension, and emergency planners. The project aim is to strengthen local and regional food systems and build community resilience, especially in the face of emergencies such as earthquake and wildfire. 

Karina holds a Master’s of Science degree in International Agricultural Development from UC Davis. In her previous research, she focused on addressing inequity, poverty and climate change resilience globally, including projects in Nepal, Panama and the Czech Republic.
