Yolo County gardeners of all experience levels are invited to learn how to keep unwanted critters and bugs out of their garden. No previous gardening experience is required to attend.

UCCE Yolo Master Gardener Janey Santos will present a workshop on temperennials.

. Choose from pollinator plants grown by garden volunteers and from Morningsun Herb Farm, Vacaville. Gardening, nature and cookbooks will also be for sale, and Winters FFA students will have tomato and pepper starts for sale and milkweed to support Monarch butterflies.

Yolo County Master Gardener Karen Slinkard will present this class. This class is free and open to the public.

There will be an open garden day March 2 from 1000 to noon. The garden is located at 16675 County Road 98B in Woodland.

Learn about the Putah Creek Watershed Native Plant Demonstration Garden. Its a place to learn about drought-resistant and pollinator-friendly native plants that you and your neighbors can use in your own yards, contributing to the health of our watershed ecosystem.

The UCCE Master Gardeners-Yolo and the Yolo Library will hold its regular semimonthly Gardening Workshops in June on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month. The topic is Create Your Pollinator Habitat.

Master Gardeners-Yolo workshop on Gardening For Year Round Meals meets regularly on the second Saturday of each month, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, at Grace Garden, located behind the United Methodist Church at 1620 Anderson Road, in Davis, near the back of the parking lot.

Yolo County UCCE Master Gardener Bonnie Berman will present this free workshop. Berman will provide a comprehensive overview of fruit tree care, from common pests to pruning.
