About the Event

Learn about the Putah Creek Watershed Native Plant Demonstration Garden. It’s a place to learn about drought-resistant and pollinator-friendly native plants that you and your neighbors can use in your own yards, contributing to the health of our watershed ecosystem. Yolo and Solano county Master Gardeners helped plan and establish the Putah Creek Watershed Native Plant Garden in collaboration with the Putah Creek Council (PCC) and the Solano County Water Agency (SCWA). Maddie Galal, Putah Creek Council Stewardship Coordinator and Ron Unger, Yolo County Master Gardener will cover this new garden’s location, purpose, planning, establishment, and opportunities to see it and be involved.
