Master Gardener Mike Kluk will talk about Berries, Berries, Berries. Learn about selecting and caring for a variety of berry plants in your garden including cane berries (blackberries and raspberries), strawberries, blueberries and a few less common such as gooseberries and service berries.

The UCCE Master Gardeners-Yolo and the Yolo Library Workshop will hold its regular semi-monthly Gardening Workshops in March on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month. It is free and open to the public.

March is the perfect time to prepare for the warm season! This talk will cover growing perennial and annual herbs, including ginger and turmeric, and tips for deciding between seeds or seedling starts for summer vegetables. Well also discuss sharpening tools, mulching, and irrigation.
