Countywide Projects

Any 4-H member in Santa Cruz County is welcome to participate in a countywide project.  You are member of your main 4-H club but participate in a 4-H project in another 4-H club taught by a 4-H leader. 

Horse Project: 

A much waited project by many 4-H members in our community.  We now have a countywide horse project lead by Francy Maciel email Ag History 4-H club email: 4haghistory@gmail.com or Sherry Barnard, Corralitos 4-H club email: 4hincorralitos@gmail.com

Poultry Project:  

An amazing project for all 4-H members ages 5 - 18 years old. You will learn how to care and show poultry from quail, ducks and chickens.  This is a great 4-H project for kids with limited space to large space to raise an animal.  This project is lead by Ag History 4-H club, email: 4haghistory@gmail.com

Rabbit Project:

Show rabbits and pet rabbit project. Explore your interest for rabbits.  This is a great project for younger member interested in showing animals, lead by Arielle Spotswood Corralitos 4-H Club email:4hincorralitos@gmail.com

Sewing Project: 

Discover your hidden talent! Learn how to sew with a fun and excitement.  Make an outfit for Fashion Revue or just learn to sew.  Contact Trisha Suruki to participate in the sewing project at 4hincorralitos@gmail.com

Shooting Sports Project: 

4-H Members will learn how to safely use a BB gun to pellet gun in this course.  This project is for girls and boys from age 12 years old and up.  We encourage all 4-H members to learn gun safety.  This project is lead Randy Turnquist at randy@randyt.com or 4hincorralitos@gmail.com.
