SJC and Delta Field Crops

UC Cooperative Extension will host the SJC and Delta Field Crops Meeting on Friday, January 10, 2020 from 8:00am to 12:00pm. The meeting location is the Cabral Agricultural Center in Stockton (2101 E. Earhart Ave., Stockton, CA 95206). Coffee and refreshments will be provided.

The results of the 2019 UCCE Delta field corn variety trial (Fig. 1), located on Tyler Island, are presented in Table 1. Three replicate blocks of fourteen varieties were planted on May 7th by air planter.

Results from the statewide UC small grains variety testing program are now available for the 2018-19 season. The Delta trial location was on Staten Island on a Valdez silt loam soil.

UC Cooperative Extension will host the annual corn field meeting on Tuesday, October 15th, from 10:00-11:30am, on Tyler Island in Sacramento County. The agenda is pasted below and attached.

On September 4th, we hosted the Soil Health and Cover Cropping Field Meeting on Staten Island in San Joaquin County. We would like to thank those who attended the meeting. The meeting handouts are now available from the Delta Crops website.
