The annual California 4-H State Field Day event is the largest statewide 4-H event for all ages.
Activities for all ages
EVERYONE can participate in activities at State Field Day!
- Connect with 4-H families from across California.
- Free activities for Primary aged youth (ages 5-9).
- Watch 4-H'ers give their presentations on different topics.
- Cheer on State Fashion Show contestants during the Fashion Show.
- View the Photography Contest submissions.
- Try new foods at the Food Trucks.
- Learn something new at the educational tables.

Competitions are open to ages 9 and up. You can participate in one or more contests! Please see State Presentations and State Fashion Revue for pre-qualification requirements. All other contests do not have qualification requirements.
Contests without qualifying requirements allow you to compete and learn from 4-H competitors from throughout California. This event strengthens a number of important extended learning practices.
