About the Event

Do you love to have fresh flowers in your home, brightening up your living spaces?  Do you want to attract beneficial insects and pollinators to your garden? Have you struggled to find the right flowers to grow for our Santa Clara county seasons?  Then this is the talk for you!  Join Master Gardener Laura Westley as she shows you the beautiful array of flowers that grow well here Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.  We’ll discuss how to grow them from seed or transplant, what time of year is right for which flowers, and soil, water and fertilizer requirements.

Location: Master Gardener's Demonstration Garden in the Pavilion

Participants should wear closed-toed shoes, layered clothing, and a hat, as the class is held outdoors in our Pavilion Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time to park and sign in. 

Please note: the park charges $6.00 for parking, or park closer to our area on Chynoweth Avenue near Vauxhall Circle for free.
