Join us for Common Diseases in the Backyard Garden and Orchard Public Workshop on Sat, Feb 22 from 10 - 12 noon.

Our speaker is Elaine Valladao, Environmental Horticulture Instructor at Merced Community College. 

Topics covered will be: 

• What is plant pathology
• Identification and diagnosis of plant diseases
  • including fire blight, blossom end rot, powdery and other mildews, bacterial canker, peach leaf curl, etc.
• Disease management using an Integrated Pest Management approach
