Join us!  Learn how to preserve your fresh home grown tomatoes into a salsa of your liking.  The simple and basic salsa recipe that we'll be using will allow you to add the desired heat you enjoy.  This hands-on class will teach you how to safely prepare and preserve salsa, made with fresh tomatoes, onions and peppers, using the water-bath method.  Participants will sample varieties of the same recipe and will take home their own pint of homemade "Salsa Your Way!"  You will also create a "Mexican Spice Blend" that can be used to flavor canning tomatoes or to add flavor to your next Mexican inspired meal.

Pre-registration is required.

Registration closes Friday, July 26, 2024 (or earlier if 12 people have registered for each of the two classes)

The class will be held at

Sonoma Clean Power Customer Center
741 Fourth Street, Santa Rosa, CA 95404
