Allyson Greenlon is in pursuit of bridging the gap between science and the public for all things plants. Her goal is to empower gardeners, community organizations, and anyone who needs to eat (that’s you!) with the knowledge to grow food and habitat plants safely, sustainably, and successfully. She has an intersectional background in plant biology, botany, and horticulture from UC Davis, and field experience ranging from wildlands, museum archives, botanic gardens, home garden design, and now working with volunteer groups to extend the reach of this work. She lives for the small magic moments where people and plants mutually benefit from each other.
