About the Event

Learn the essentials of water bath canning in this hands-on workshop taught by UCCE Master Food Preservers.  This make-and-take workshop is perfect for beginners and experienced canners alike.  You will get step-by-step instruction in water bath canning including the science behind it while you make a delicious cranberry chutney from an award-winning recipe.  You will take home a jar of your preserved chutney along with a simmer pot packet to make your home smell like the holidays.  All materials provided.  Bring your own apron.
