Native Plant Gardening for Habitat & the Environment

Learn how gardening with native plants can provide habitat for invertebrates and improve the environment. This introductory class will empower you to increase the biodiversity and beauty surrounding your home.

Did you know that California is a biodiversity hotspot? California has more species of native plants than any other state in the US, and many of these plants are found nowhere else in the world.  They form the basis of the ecosystems and natural processes that surround us. We have the privilege as gardeners to cultivate an incredible array of beautiful plants that are native to our specific locations and microclimates. Come join this introductory class to learn about California native plants that are easy to grow and provide habitat for insects.
