Santa Barbara Master Gardeners Marian Rusting and Bill Morey will present a free research-based Zoom Garden Talk “Growing Tropical Fruit” Monday, April 3, 2023, 7-8pm. Marian and Bill will discuss the opportunities, challenges, and cultural requirements for growing tropical fruit in Southern California environments. Their Talk will include: plant characteristics, soil, water and nutrient needs, and varieties best suited to the region. Some of the fruits covered; Bananas, Dragon Fruit, Pineapple Guava and more.
