The Accountant 5 role involves a range of accounting functions, including analyzing, monitoring, preparing, and reconciling financial information to reflect the organizations financial condition. This position provides critical financial and statistical data to support operations and decision-making. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports to meet both internal and external reporting requirements, and may extend to developing, implementing, and overseeing accounting systems, policies, and procedures.This position is a contract appointment that is 100 fixed and ends two years from date of hire with the possibility of extension if funding permits.The home department for this position is Financial Services.
