Projects Each year, a 4-H club member enrolls in at least one project. Members enrolling for the first time may be encouraged to take on only one or two projects. As members gain experience, the size of the project may be increased or additional projects may be selected.

Im 15 years old,and I absolutely love 4-H. In 4-H, I do many different projects such as archery, photography and community service. I also attend Southern Youth Summit and LA Countys 4-H summer camp. Regardless of what Im doing through 4-H, I always have fun. 4-H has taught me how to be a leader.

Interested in working with 4-H to bring 4-H curriculum and training into your program? There are new types of 4-H clubs that are setup to permit 4-H to partner with schools, after school and other youth programs and allow us to provide staff training and curriculum.

By ND, Age 13, from Olivenhain Valley 4-H I am from San Diego County 4-H. I started 4-H when I was 7 years old, and it has become the greatest decision I have made. This is my 8th year of being apart of this delightful youth program.

Area 1 Beach Cleanup Area 1 encompasses clubs from Camp Pendleton, Oceanside, and Carlsbad east all the way through Valley Center, Pala, and Pauma Valley.
