All adults who apply to be an adult volunteer in the 4-H YD Program must complete either an in-person or virtual New Adult Volunteer Orientation. Please check the New Adult Volunteer Orientation R.S.V.P. form for an orientation date and location that works for you and R.S.V.P. as soon as you can.

Join the UCCE Master Food Preservers for their monthly general Q&A session. A panel of volunteers specializing in freezing, dehydrating, canning and food safety will be available to answer your questions, share their tips and encourage you to safely preserve food at home.

General Description: Our dormant season "late winter to early spring" is a wonderful time to expand the options in your fruit orchard. Join us for a scion exchange and grafting demonstration to provide an abundant, varied crop.

Come along to our weekly Workday & Open Garden Gate - we are now operating winter hours - 11am to 4pm. Open year-round on Thursdays - the public is welcome to explore the garden, ask for advice, take free seeds home to plant, buy plants, share in the harvest and more.

The University of California Cooperative Extension (UCCE) invites adults interested in helping others learn about gardening and to apply to train as a Master Gardener volunteer.

Harvest Festival held by the Master Gardeners of Calaveras County. A family-friendly event with fun activities to celebrate the earths bounty and welcome Fall. Master Gardeners will hold a Plant Sale.

A regular workday at the demo garden on Thursdays, 1pm to 6pm/dusk. The gate will indeed be open and members of the public are welcome to drop in and enjoy the garden and ask for advice. There will be public demos and plant sales.

In this class you will learn techniques to propagate some of the most common plants found within your own home, garden or landscape. Processes from cuttings, layering and divisions will be discussed.
