Join us on Thursday May 17th for this year's University of California Small Grains - Alfalfa/ Forages Field Day. The event will take place at the UC Davis Agronomy Field Headquarters on Hutchison Drive. Registration, parking, and lunch are free.

The annual UC Davis Small Grains and Alfalfa Field Day will take place on Thursday, May 17, 2017 at the Agronomy Field Headquarters (2400 Hutchison Drive, Davis, CA 95616). Registration opens at 7:30am, and lunch is provided between the small grains morning program and alfalfa afternoon program.

The handwritten sign at the "Bug Doctor" booth at Briggs Hall during the 104th annual UC Davis Picnic Day read "Bug Me with Questions." And attendees did. They asked questions, expressed concerns, and offered comments.

With crops being planted in the field, now is a good time to refresh our knowledge of on-farm diagnostics to try to stay ahead of problems. Diagnosing on farm issues requires us to know what normal, healthy crops look like, and to observe in field clues.
