New WeedCUT Feature: BMPs for Herbicide Application Techniques

Confused about what a “drizzle” application is and when to use it? Deciding on the best way to estimate your application rate when using a backpack sprayer? Wondering what your hole spacing should be when using “drill-and-fill”?
You can now find detailed instructions for these and other herbicide application techniques in the WeedCUT online decision support tool. Click on “Application Techniques” in the upper right corner of the home page to access all eight application techniques plus a guide to cleaning spray equipment after use. Check out this new addition to all the other resources available on WeedCUT!
WeedCUT provides how-to guidance on a range of non-chemical and chemical approaches for wildland weed control. It also has a tool where you can select the weed you want to control and the characteristics of your site - how big it is, what the surface and slope are like, presence of water or sensitive species, and more - and then see which approaches will be most effective.
