The lavender plant has been used for centuries for many purposes. Lavender flowers can be found in bath salts, teas, baked goods, oils, and other products. This workshop is an exploration of the history of lavender, it's uses, and tips for how to grow it successfully in your garden.
In this workshop, you'll enjoy lavender tea and desserts, while learning how to create a lavender wand and a wreath from freshly harvested lavender stems. Lavender wands use stems that are wound around each other to contain the blossoms within. This creates a naturally scented “wand” to place in your drawers, or to give away as gifts. We will also have additional wands for sale if you’d like to take some to give as gifts.
