Forensic entomologist and academic advisor Robert Kimsey of the UC Davis Department of Entomology and Nematology has won an international award from NACADA, the global community for academic advising.

How soon can we, as a nation, acquire herd immunity or immune protection to COVD-19? Herd immunity refers to the proportion of a population required for the rate of disease spread to equal zero, says UC Davis distinguished professor James R. Carey of the Department of Entomology and Nematology.
