syrphid I-DP-SYRP-AD.010

UC IPM's popular Meet the Beneficials: Natural Enemies of Garden Pests poster is available to the UC Master Gardener Program for free! This helpful resource makes a great gift to new trainees or as a program incentive. Coordinators can request up to 50 copies of the poster using this request form. Orders are filled on a first-come, first-served basis until we run out.

Other outreach materials are available for free to UC Master Gardener Program, including our Natural Enemies Loaner Collection with 18 preserved specimens for your training events. Fill out this form to request the loaner collection. UC IPM also has a Pesticide Label Reading Loaner Collection sets of empty, never been filled pesticide containers with 10-15 different products to use during your training. The Pesticide Loaner Collection can be requested using this form. More information and training materials, including scripted presentations and Quick Tips ordering, can be found in the UC Master Gardener portal on the UC IPM website under “Resources.”

Finally, we have had great attendance from UC Master Gardeners at our monthly Urban & Community IPM Webinars. We encourage you to communicate continuing education opportunities directly with your volunteers as we regularly receive questions regarding available CEUs for webinar attendance. These free monthly webinars cover topics that range from identification, using pesticides around the home and garden, to pest specific management. Please continue to share our webinars with your volunteers and clientele.

If you have questions about any of the above materials or resources, please contact us. Thank you for all you do share IPM information with your communities!
