The UC ANR Staff Assembly Wellness Committee invites ANR staff members to participate in Winter Wellness 2022. Now through Feb. 7, complete at least five individual health and wellness activities featured in the challenge.

John C. Bruhn, UC Cooperative Extension specialist emeritus, passed away Dec. 18, 2021. He was 81. Bruhn began his 37-year career (1969-2006) as a UCCE dairy food specialist in the Department of Food Science and Technology at UC Davis.

W. James (Jim) Clawson,emeritus UC Cooperative Extension range specialist passed away in Dallas, Oregon, on Jan. 7, 2022, from pancreatic cancer at the age of 89. Born in Oakland, Clawson was the son of William, a presbyterian minister, and Ruth Clawson.

UC ANR hosted a wildfire virtual tour for state legislators, legislative staff and agency officials Nov. 16.

Doan named UCCE small farms advisor Hung Doan joined UCCE as a small farms and specialty crops advisor serving Riverside and San Bernardino counties on Nov. 1. Before joining UC ANR, Doan was an instructor for an USAID-funded Farmer-to-Farmer Program in Guyana.
