The UC ANR Business Operations Center has begun loaning credit card machines on a short-term basis for payment card acceptance during sales and events.
Ten credit card machines are available on request on a short-term, first-come, first-served basis for $10 per day plus the cost of shipping and transaction fees. Borrowers must complete three required security trainings and allow at least 10 business days after they submit their request for the machine to be delivered.
ANR launched the much-anticipated Credit Card Machine Program on October 9.
The Business Operations Center (worked with many partners to implement this new service including administrative units, UCCEs and statewide programs. We gained valuable feedback from survey data and focused discussions, allowing us to plan for an effective program with everyone in mind.
Our appreciation goes out to many individuals who worked closely with us to enable electronic payments and debit/credit card sales at all our on-site events across ANR.
