June is peak growing season, but it’s also prime time for pests in the vegetable garden! Join us for this informative workshop.
We will explore how to identify, prevent, and manage common garden pests that threaten your crops.
Learn about organic and integrated pest management (IPM) strategies to keep your garden healthy while minimizing harm to beneficial insects and the environment.
Topics will include:
- Identifying common vegetable garden pests (aphids, caterpillars, beetles, and more)
- Recognizing early signs of pest damage
- Natural and organic pest control methods
- Encouraging beneficial insects for natural pest suppression
- Tips for maintaining a resilient, pest-resistant garden
This hands-on workshop will include real-life examples from the garden and a Q&A session with experienced gardeners. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned grower, you’ll walk away with practical solutions to protect your summer harvest.
Bring: A notepad, gardening gloves (if participating in hands-on activities), and any questions about your garden’s pest problems!
