Birds in the garden

Want to augment your pleasure in the garden by increasing your knowledge of and contact with wildlife - especially the birds that inhabit it? The key to having a rich variety in your garden of bird life – or life of any sort for that matter –is understanding the principle of the ecological niche. No one kind of food or nesting site or hiding place, or foraging site, or bathing location is likely to satisfy every kind of bird.

The more variety you have in your garden, the more species of birds you are likely to have living there. Come take a walk through the newly developing garden at Los Guilicos and learn about increasing the diversity in your garden and how to think like a bird!
