Participants at this two-day event will learn the basics of prescribed fire through classroom-style instruction and hands-on field experience.

Learn & Burn – Classroom Day

• Where: Yosemite Adult School, 49948 High School Road, Oakhurst
• When: Saturday, December 14, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• What: A classroom-based introduction to prescribed fire covering safety, weather, firing operations, and other essential skills for prescribed burning. Registration is required.

Learn & Burn – Field Day (Weather Permitting)

• Where: Location TBD (dependent on weather conditions)
• When: Sunday, December 15, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• What: A hands-on opportunity to apply skills learned during the classroom session. Registration is required.
