2017 UC Staff Engagement Survey
- Sponsored by Council of UC Staff Assemblies (CUCSA) and UC Human Resources
- Administered by Willis Towers Watson using their standard questions and analysis
- Repeat of 2015 survey; report includes comparisons with prior UC survey and national norms
- Sample of non-represented Staff invited to complete survey in May 2017
- 64% response rate for ANR (second highest among all UC locations). 234 individuals responded.
Key Results for ANR
- 36 questions covering eight general categories related to employee engagement
- Improved in 6 out of 8 categories compared to ANR 2015
- Most improved: Performance Management, Career Development, Communication
- Most declined: Working Relationships
- Most improved: Performance Management, Career Development, Communication
- Below US National Norm in most categories
- Least favorable: Organizational Change, Performance Management, Career Development
- Least favorable: Organizational Change, Performance Management, Career Development
- Overall engagement at 71 percent, up 3 points from 2015
