Keynote
Our 2024 event featured a keynote/training with Dr. Carolyn Dewa of the UC Davis Department of Public Health.
Dr. Carolyn Dewa provided her signature mental health awareness and early intervention training titled Inquiring Minds, adapted for the UC Master Gardener Program context. Developed for government workers in Canada, and tested with UC Davis faculty and staff, Inquiring Minds equips learners with the skills and knowledge to comfortably and confidently speak to volunteers and community members about mental health concerns refer them to appropriate mental health resources.
