USDA NIFA is accepting applications to the FY22 Renewable Resources Extension Act – National Program Focus (RREA-NFF) program
Dear Colleagues,
NIFA requests applications for the Renewable Resource Extension Act (RREA) – National Focus Fund Projects (NFF) for fiscal year (FY) 2022 to provide for expanded and comprehensive extension programs that focus on forest and rangeland renewable resources at the national or regional level.
The FY2022 RREA-NFF RFA is soliciting applications under the following priority areas:
- Regional/National Projects – The nexus of critical forest and rangeland resources issues, innovative approaches to program delivery, and current knowledge about non formal adult education
- Climate-Smart Agriculture and Forestry- Improve mitigation, adaptation, and resiliency of agricultural and forestry production systems to climate change
- Review and update current RREA Strategic Plan
The anticipated amount available for grants in FY 2022 is approximately $300,000. NIFA will make one (1) award.
