Please join us for the 2020 Grant Essentials Summit on March 2 and 3 at the UC ANR Valley Conference Center in Davis, CA.

The summit will bring together UC ANR academics and staff from a wide range of disciplines, offering a grant-writing program focused on the essentials of successfully securing grant funding.

This year, ANR is hosting an innovative two-day format that capitalizes on academic engagement with state agencies to facilitate building relationships with programs, while increasing grant-seeking capacity to identify and successfully apply for funding.This workshop will provide the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the proposal preparation and sponsor grant review process, develop skills in tailoring grant proposals to specific audience interests, and lead and contribute to successful collaborative teams. The summit will introduce you to communication and writing concepts for preparing compelling and competitive grant applications. As we engage with funding program managers, you will connect with and learn about relevant programs from various state agency programs.

Participation will be limited to facilitate an engaging, hands-on, interactive training experience.
